Humans on AMC Cable

Not sure about this one yet still previewing Pilot episode. It sounds like it's from Great Britain.

You can watch the first 2 episodes for free streamed online at this address: NOPE you can watch the first pilot and a preview of the 2nd episode. Mostly people are getting used to talking with robots that look exactly like humans mostly and trying not to be totally creeped out by the whole thing. On this level it is believable of people trying to get used to this sort of thing, in some ways like self driving cars where you are trusting your life to a computer. Are you safer than around other humans with computers in car and human form?
Yes and NO. If you understand software and how it is programmed and it's strengths and weaknesses it is hard to say which is more dangerous, a human looking robot around the house or a self driving car.

The answer might be that as long as there are no glitches or errors in the software and as long as no one spills water on the robot or CPU in the Self driving car or no one drives through a dust storm (or a vacuum bag explodes) everyone might be okay (or not). Software makes completely different kinds of mistakes than humans or animals so you really cannot foresee very easily at this point where danger exists until someone is maimed or dies (like the robot that grabbed and killed a man in a VW manufacturing plant recently in Germany). (However, likely he was where a metal or plastic part should have been and it mistook him for that part and tried to install the man into a VW which was fatal for the man.)
