What does this mean? Likely what it means is Trump is getting too close to the Republican nomination for Conservative Republicans and average sane people of all political persuasions.
The people voting for Trump are scared and are willing to try anything to make their lives better than they presently are. Everyone understands this. But, the similarity of personalities of Hitler and Trump really scares most people in the U.S.
What Trump is promising would not be possible unless you disbanded the Congress and Supreme Court and crowned Trump Emperor or dictator anyway. And people voting for him likely don't realize this. This is the real problem here I believe.
To do what Trump says it is not worth dismantling our whole system of government that benefits most people on earth in so many ways.
So, I don't see yesterday as a Cruz Victory at all. I see it as an "Anyone but Trump!" victory instead.
