Success doesn't really come from fighting with or even competing with others. Real success comes from being kind to both yourself and others in the end. Of course as you go through life there are many stages of this but warfare with yourself or others only makes enemies of yourself and others. And in this kind of conflict you are always going to lose.
So, learning to be compassionate and forgiving towards yourself and others is actually how you will succeed in all ways. Because it is much easier to become rich and successful as a whole person seeing other people as whole people and helping yourself and others to be whole than fighting yourself and all others all the time.
In the end you are not competing with others you are only competing with yourself. So, if you are fighting with yourself internally you are driving away success and happiness from yourself all the time.
So, the only real way to be a success and to ever be happy is to make peace with yourself and with others before you or they are dead and there is no way to make peace with either anymore.
Having compassion for both yourself and all others is the essence of all useful civilization everywhere.
The opposite of this is Complete chaos in everyone's life like you might imagine it was like being a caveman without a tribe.
So, learning to be compassionate towards yourself and all others is the essence of your success within yourself and outside of yourself always.
