I would likely say that Global Climate change, Globalization and the new Technological Singularity have finally confused enough Americans that candidates like Trump and Sanders look to be some of the only ones with solutions.
However, the problem is that in actuality neither Trump nor Sanders could do what they want to here in the U.S. without disbanding Congress and ending the Supreme Court.
However, most people voting for Sanders and Trump are not knowledgeable enough about the Constitution and checks and balances to actually understand how our system of government actually works.
Trump talks like a bully (like many business owners actually are to their employees). But, a President of a country is an entirely different thing. And this is why Trump would make a lousy president because he wouldn't have the free reign to do ANY of the things he is talking about without disbanding Congress and the Supreme Court. So, unless Trump Crowns himself Emperor or Dictator like Hitler, absolutely NONE of the things he is talking about could ever happen in a million years the way laws and checks and balances are now in place in our system of governance.
And the world depends now upon the U.S. to be what it has been traditionally all along or there are going to be all sorts of wars happening, either trade wars or bloody ones.
So, this is the problem with how Trump is talking. He would be a lousy president because what he is promising could never happen without starting a world war.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
