Amazingly hot in California and Star Trek: First Contact and The Fifth Element

Amazingly hot on the coast today in the low 80s which is very unusual this close to the beach even in the summer or fall. Was channel surfing inside to get out of the blazing sun for awhile and saw the last 10 minutes of Star Trek: First Contact which is about the inventing of the faster than light drive here on earth.

Next, was the beginning of "The Fifth Element" which is also a great Sci-fi movie like the STar Trek series too.
