The former Speaker of the House candidly talked about the presidential hopeful during a Wednesday talk at Stanford University — and his opinion of the Texas Senator accused of being the Zodiac Killer is less than stellar.
“Lucifer in the flesh,” Boehner said, according to the Stanford Daily. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a b---h in my life.”
CARLY FIORINA ACCEPTS TED CRUZ'S RUNNING MATE OFFER
Cruz fired back at the former speaker Thursday.
“Tell me again who will stand up to Washington? Trump, who's Boehner's "texting and golfing buddy," or Carly & me?” he tweeted a day after he named ex-tech boss Carly Fiorina as his running mate.

Boehner also touched on the rest of the 2016 candidates during the Wednesday night talk. He has soft spot for the third Republican still in the race, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, he said.
“[Kasich] requires more effort on my behalf than all my other friends,” he said without elaborating on what that means. “But he’s still my friend, and I love him.”
TED CRUZ MATHEMATICALLY HAS NO CHANCE OF WINNING GOP NOMINATION
And don’t rule out the possibility of an upset in the Democratic field either, the former Speaker warned. While Hillary Clinton will likely secure her party’s nomination, there’s always a chance of last-minute surprises — especially from Vice President Joe Biden.
“Don’t be shocked … if two weeks before the convention, here comes Joe Biden parachuting in and Barack Obama fanning the flames to make it all happen,” Boehner said, according to the newspaper.
