I'm having trouble relating to what is happening on the East Coast because it is sort of like Global Warming has set in her from San Diego to Portland. And Especially after spending 10 days in Hawaii thinking about what is happening back East sort of doesn't compute in my mind.

Conditions
New Snow: "Top Depth: 10"Base Depth: 5"That's 10 inches of snow at around 8000 feet in altitude on Mt. Shasta which isn't enough to be safe or not to ruin my skis. Or 5 inches where the lifts start which might be enough to build a snowman if you didn't care if he got dirty a lot from dirt.I'm thinking the days of 20 feet to 40 feet of snow to ski on in the spring might be gone and might not ever return.(at Bunny Flats to Wagon Camp Rd. or up to Panther Meadows) on cross country or mountaineering skis. Also, they might cancel the Iditerod in Alaska because there isn't enough snow there either.
