The problem of Facebook is that everything you put there (and everything you put there drunk or stoned and delete the next morning) Facebook keeps even if it doesn't show up online. This then can and will be sold (at their discretion) to anyone worldwide even if that person wants your information to kill you or defraud you. (Facebook wouldn't check this by the way to protect your lives before selling this to the highest bidder for example). So, I wonder how many rapes and murders and how many people didn't get hired by what employers were able to buy or get from Facebook already?
What you are getting for Free from Facebook really is the chance to humiliate yourself and possibly cause your own death or your own financial loss by not being able to get hired because of what you put on Facebook since you were 3 to 5 years old and didn't know any better.
So, Facebook is in the business of profiting from your misfortune. Not understanding this is to be a fool like unfortunately most people on earth are demonstrating that they are now by using Facebook.
I only go to Facebook in emergencies when I cannot contact people any other way. Otherwise I prefer to NEVER go there even to browse because of all the reasons I have stated above.
If you want to contact someone call them or text them or Email them. Though this all might be tapped by governments around the world at least it is safer than what Facebook is.
If someone walked up to your front door that you didn't know and said, "Who are the people you know? Who do you contact? How long have you known them? Where do you go and what do you do on weekends?
Would you answer this person if they didn't tell you who they were? And would you even believe they were who they said?
This is what Facebook is doing to you every day and you are putting up with it?
