Being Anti-Natalist is not logical or pragmatic. Why?

Because for example, the Shakers were a real religion that sprang up here in the U.S. 

What was one of their precepts? No children.

What happened to the Shakers. They went extinct to the last person because of no children.

So, even if you are worried about overpopulation unless we replace you and then replace your children there will be no one left to carry on after most people die this century.

What we need is educated people that can make a difference. We need people who can extend human lives in various ways. We need people to figure out how to prevent complete human extinction. we need people to colonize other worlds.

If no one has babies or they are prevented from having babies by one country or another the human race eventually ends.

So, there are two problems here: Overpopulation and human extinction.

Yes. We are overpopulated but unless we have some children there won't be ANY children alive by 2100AD at all.

So, being an Anti-Natalist just will bring about human extinction quicker.

It's better you have children and then educate them in how to save the whole world and some of the people on earth.

Without educated people who think like engineers who can keep the human race going through anything, we all go extinct within the next 300 years time.
