My daughter and her husband and baby had planned to move back to the U.S about 2 years ago. However, he wanted to pass the bar in Austria before he did this even though he has passed the Bar in New York State and taken the California Bar and will see whether he passed it in November 2025.
So, since I have been keeping their car for them and maintaining it I realized when my present wife's biological Mom passed away this summer that I could do a lot more than I thought I could now at 77.
A Friend of mine texted "Age is a state of mind" which is true.
When I realized I could do much more it was around the time my wife's biological mother passed away. What I realized is that I could do all sorts of things I never realized I could do anymore as long as I slept enough to keep up with being that active and moving around all the time.
So, since I desperately wanted to visit my daughter in Austria I said, "You know, we have to go to your cousin's wedding in North Carolina anyway, why don't we just hop over to Europe to Austria and visit our daughter, her baby and her husband?
Even though this seemed a lot and I was afraid of jet lag going and coming I really wanted to see my daughter and Grand Daughter and to meet people in Austria too who were her new relatives.
While we were there my son in laws brother's wife had her baby too so now my new grand daughter has a cousin already there in Europe too.
Motivation is everything in life.
When you find something worthwhile you go for it.
