Writing is a way to organize your thoughts and feelings to better survive in the present and future

For example, a lot of people are food insecure right now with the government shut down.

However, there is no evidence at all that it will open anytime soon or at all ever.

So, how do you solve this problem?

One way to solve this problem would be food banks. However, it is also true that food banks will also be hard pressed to solve food insecurity as it hit this weekend in all places in the U.S.

The biggest problem likely will be out in the country not in the city. Why?

Because in the city there are food banks and soup kitchens more than out in the country.

Also, the more remote you are the more likely you are going to need transportation to get to a food bank you you can feed your children.

So, the most likely place to starve right now is remote in the country. Because at least in a city you could take a bus to the food bank to get food but in the country buses might not be available.

Though people could hitch hike to get food at food banks this also could be dangerous.

So, writing down your thoughts about how you are going to feed your children and yourself might be important right now.

What I find with writing is the single most important thing is to write your thoughts and feelings down so at least you know what you think and feel about anything in your life.

Then later, when you are calmer look at what you have written and solve the problem or problems you have written about.

IN this way you begin to solve your problems by facing them one by one.

If you don't face your problems often they become bigger and bigger to the point where you cannot survive your problems at all and then it might be too late and you will be gone permanently.

So, defining your problems often will save your life in the long run. And one way to define your problems is to write them down somewhere safe away from anyone who might harm you. And then later look at what you have written and then begin to solve your problems when you are calmer.

I have used this process to solve my own problems since I was 8 years old and my 16 year old cousin died in a car accident when I had no one who would listen to me about how I felt about this.

I found writing down my problems was the first step to solving my problems almost always.

Writing is a way to organize your thoughts and feelings to better survive the present and future.
