One way to look at this is that if we are paying more to service this 40 trillion dollar debt than we are paying for our national defense on all levels maybe something is wrong with this picture? You've heard of the rise and fall of civilizations?Well. paying more for debt servicing than the entire U.S. defense budget is one way for a civilization to fail badly and suddenly when anything seriously goes wrong.Too many people like Trump are ONLY concerned about their own pocketbooks and not the whole Earth civilization collapsing like it did during the Great Depression because of Herbert Hoover. When you have this much unsustainable debt something has got to give which is why this could easily slip into another Great Recession or Great Depression. This is the real problem in regard to the U.S. Economy potentially taking the whole world down again like under Herbert Hoover in 1929 and it didn't fully recover from this from 1929 until the 1950s after World War II was over. It's interesting to me it is now 100 years approximately later and now Trump is Herbert Hoover 2?
