So, though "Sweet Tooth" is wonderful who is the son of Will Ferrell in the series, what has happened to the whole world isn't wonderful. Only Sweet Tooth or Gus is wonderful. So, this is a post apocalyptic world caused by a pandemic. So, if you can suspend disbelief it makes more sense on some levels that what is happening is happening. This was filmed in New Zealand which didn't have the problems the U.S. had with Covid-19 by the way. After quarantining 2 weeks they were allowed to make this series there.
