In the first "2035" Brett and Lily are not mentioned or other people in this story. However, in As Drones Evolve it demonstrates how changes can take place on Timelines.
What changed this timeline?
Brett and Silver met online at a young inventors site which changed both of their lives for the better in many different ways and then they went into business together as young inventors.
So, I'm demonstrating how timelines can and do change over time in real time.
