With Consumers there are now 2.5 billion AI users especially young people in high school and college but not so much in businesses

Note: The title obviously refers to the whole world and not just any country or group of countries by the way.

So, when people can get AI for free through something like Google Search like I use it mostly for they are interested. When Businesses have to pay for it it's often another story and that story will be developing now for decades.

However, with something like Waymo driverless cars this will slowly go from city to city around the country and world because they have a market which is 12 to 17 year old girls that parents don't want teenage girls driving around either with themselves or teenage boys. So, as a parent and grandparent myself I can understand why the parents feel like this.

However, for myself I don't plan to EVER use something like Waymo Driverless Taxis simply because there is no way I can save myself and my family in an emergency. Because even though there is a steering wheel and brakes likely on board still as a passenger you are not allowed to save yourself in this way in a real emergency where lives are at stake.

So, the adoption of AI is broad but shallow. So, it's sort of like the whole world of consumers are dipping their toe in the water of AI so to speak but it isn't something they plan on paying for with money anytime soon. Whether people will choose to pay money for all this is anyone's guess at this point as consumers.

What will happen with businesses actually financially benefiting from this investment is likely decades away at least at this point.

Because as we all know things can change overnight. But, if we are to be more realistic it's probably going to be closer to how cell phones went everywhere since the 1990s than anything else.

So, it might be 20 or 30 years before we see all the changes from AI on earth like we do now from Cell phones and Smart phones changing everyone's lives around the world.

For example, this is a true statement regarding smart phones.

"A 9 year old child anywhere on earth has more access to information now than President Clinton did while in office."

If you wrap your mind around this statement you can see just how much the world has changed since Clinton was in office, for example.
