Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein (both I think started in SNL or Saturday Night Live years ago now.
If you haven't seen Portlandia on IFC on TV it is a very experimental program regarding what life can be like in Porland, Oregon.
It reminds me of the 1960s and 1970s in California, Oregon and Washington (and many other parts of the U.S. as well) mixed with all the experimental consciousness of (retired people over 21) who live in Portland, Oregon.
It is about an experimental way of living and thinking that hasn't died out or gone underground like it has most other places at this point in time. So, if you like an experimental artistic way of viewing reality you just might like this program which is experimental in it's viewpoint in the extreme.
