You know that likely there were Americans watching this from Trails and peaks in the vicinity and some would have been in the path of this disaster there too. So, I'm not sure how long it will take really to find out who was trekking there on trails and up rivers in this area. the part that collapsed was 17,000 feet high and the rock and glacier dropped 4000 feet suddenly and created this awful mess with everyone dying. A friend said a similar thing happened this week in Alaska too but likely no one died so you aren't hearing as much about the similar thing that happened in Alaska
