Only 38% of the traditional Republican party supports Trump. So, here is the paradox here, more people voted for Trump in the primaries than for ANY Republican Candidate in History.
But, most of these people had never voted Republican ever before.
So, what is happening?
I think Trump just stole the Republican Party from the Republicans.
So, what happens now?
That's really hard to say. For example, no Republican nominee of the party would have ever allowed plagarism to come into the campaign except Trump's (which means his campaign is not ready for prime time) among other things.
Then to make matters worse his campaign manager and his assistant kept saying the last 2 days that there was no plagiarism in Melania Trump's Speech which at the very least is completely ignorant and at it's worse Hypocritical or downright lying.
So, this brings a credibility issue up for the entire campaign. How can anyone believe anything Republicans (presently at the convention) regarding anything if they are lying, or hypocritical or just ignorant?
How can anyone believe anything that anyone there says about Hillary Clinton if they can't even keep their speakers from plagiarizing others because they are so understaffed and ignorant the way they are doing things?
I think George Bush is right. He is the last Republican President ever elected.
Also, no president has ever won the presidency without winning Ohio and Governor Kasich isn't even attending the convention. He was offered the Vice Presidency but his ethical differences with Trump go way too deep.
So, likely Trump isn't going to win Ohio either?
So, basically what we are witnessing is the end of the Republican party as we all have known it since Abraham Lincoln.
At Present, there is a 76% likelihood Hillary will be elected President. So, it appears that George Bush will go down in history as the last Republican President ever elected.
Because White demographics have now made it impossible for traditional white Republicans (by themselves) to ever elect another president of the United States (EVER).
Trump was the last best hope for Republicans but I think the convention has ended that chance too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
