I suppose I might not be the only person who has realized this. However, if you are young enough or wealthy enough to create a non-profit to start working creating a non-profit to study this and make it happen you might see amazing things happen this century that no one could believe at all.
For example, I remember when some lady discovered that if you give money to women with children in 3rd world countries (min-banking sometimes it was called) by making loans of sometimes 100 to 1000 dollars to these women they would provide for their families and stop begging for a living and usually get their husbands if they had one to work in their businesses too if necessary for them to have a job or career.
So, this has transformed many 3rd world countries the last 20 or 30 years of people actually doing this.
So, if you visualize doing the same thing as microloans that can be paid back to mothers in 3rd world countries or here in the U.S. you can also visualize how Crowdsourcing ideas can also change the world and maybe permanently end poverty everywhere on earth and raise health standards everywhere in the process.
Here is more on micro-loans which is a proven successful way to help families become financially independent all over the world by financing the mothers of the children to start businesses.
begin quotes:
- Small Capital: Loans typically range from $25 to $1,500, giving women the ability to buy inventory, livestock, or tools like sewing machines.
- Kiva: A non-profit crowd-lending platform where individuals can fund microloans starting at $25, with roughly 80% of loans supporting women.
- Women's Microfinance Initiative (WMI): Operates localized loan and financial literacy hubs for rural women in East Africa.
- Grameen Foundation: Pioneers community-based microcredit and financial training tailored specifically to women.
- Are you looking to donate or lend funds?
- Do you want to focus on a specific region (e.g., Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia)?
