Pretty Blue eyes (1959)

This song Sung By Steve Lawrence is one of my favorites from this era. It was when I was 11 years old and I was in love with blue eyed blonde girl in my class. However, I was too shy to even talk to her. 

 

However, today this song (so much has changed in our culture) that the lyrics might be offensive to some people because of the different world we live in today than in 1959. 

However, then from my point of view I was an innocent in love with a girl I was too shy to even speak to at that age. I didn't begin dating until President Kennedy was Assassinated in 1963 when I was 15 years old. And my first date was another blue eyed Blonde haired girl from Alaska who was in my Sophomore English Class at Glendale High School in California. My first date was likely Beach Party(1963 which was made when I was 15 in 1963. My best friend owned a 1951 Ford Convertible at the time and he dropped us off in front of the Alex Theater in Glendale then. I think the Alex theater is still there today by the way.
