I think I have a much different perspective than most younger people say especially under 40 years old because I'm 77. So, I saw to some degree the Korean war, The bay of Pigs, the Cuban Missile Crisis, The Kennedy assassination (because of the Bay of Pigs and Cuban Missile Crisis and anything else people were upset about then) and the assassination of Bobby Kennedy, the assassination of Martin Luther King and everyone else who was assassinated both here and abroad.
So, I think my perspective is likely quite different than most people under 30 years old. The cycles of history I have seen first hand from the 1950s where everyone was still PTSD from The GReat Depression and world war 2 and 900,000 Americans mostly civilians had died this that war.
Then the 1960s with the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis and all the assassinations.
Then the summer of Love 1967, Woodstock August 15th 1969 and everything that brought both good and bad and the 50,000 mostly draftees who died not really knowing which end was up from High school and dying often within their first few weeks in Viet Nam because they had no idea who they were or how to stay alive there. They might have known how to race cars on the street or surf or farm or other things or climb mountains but they were lost (literally) within a few weeks and came home in a body bag. And the largest number of them were exactly my age born in 1948. My specific age was the most killed in Viet Nam. Luckily, I didn't have to go there because I got a medical Deferment called then a 4 F classification. So, I could go to college, get married and have a family and not wander the streets the rest of my life with PTSD like many my age did or still do.
So, yes, my perspective is quite different than people 40 or younger because everything I have seen was pretty insane to begin with, just insane in another way than Trump and his people are.
Will most people survive Trump?
I think so as long as he doesn't get us into a nuclear war and I think Putin and Xi are wondering just how crazy Trump is too with Trump's finger on the nuclear trigger that could literally kill all life on earth including all human beings.
So, what do we do with Trump before he gets all of us killed?
We will figure something out because we are Americans and very innovative in how we do everything.
We always have been this way and likely always will be.
By God's Grace
