So, that's good to have a light rain because all the trees and plants are now happy and the wild animals in the forest that surrounds us here on the coast are likely happier too with more water to drink and happy plants that they can eat too if they are vegetarian or omnivores like humans are.
So, seeing the back deck to the house in our backyard wet was a nice and pleasant experience where trees weren't coming down and lightning wasn't flashing and deck chairs weren't blowing across the deck at least this time.
I even rolled up the outside orange cord to my gasoline powered generator because I might not need to start it again this year. Not sure yet.
But, most of the power outages here on the coast in the forest where we live are usually in January through February and sometimes in march. So, it's possible the worst weather that causes power outages here could be over until next year.
We will see.
