Here in the Portland area of Oregon it has been cloudy and rain sprinkling a little here and there today

 But, mostly it has been cloudy so the temperatures have been around 65 or 70 most days lately. Yesterday, Sunday we went to Cannon Beach where the rain let up so we could actually walk out on the beach there. Cannon beach is very beautiful and the little town is an Oregon type of Tourist trap but people seemed pretty happy there to be there too.

The Large rock faces out in the ocean look somewhat like Cannon balls so this is why they call this beach Cannon Beach.

So, while the eastern part of the U.S. is cooking Oregon at least in the Portland and Cannon Beach area is cool and cloudy for right now.
