Efficiency

Being raised in a Swiss American Family we were always about efficiency in everything. Then on top of all this my father was valedictorian of his high school senior class. So, he began debating with me about whatever I was interested in debating with him about. It wasn't really about convincing me of anything, it was about knowing what I thought and whether I had valid arguments to back up what I was saying or whether I was just full of it and didn't know anything about whatever subject I debated him on. So, very quickly I began to realize what I knew about and what I didn't know about and so if I didn't know about something I studied about it to learn more so I didn't feel like a fool when I debated my father regarding everything in life.

Then about age 15 I realized my goal in this lifetime was to become fully enlightened. I remembered past lives going back millions of years backwards at that point, because at that point I didn't believe that remembering future lives was possible yet until I was 50 and realized that souls aren't naturally in time and space and so can remember the past, present, and future because of this. So, it wasn't until I was 50 and almost died that I realized I could remember lifetimes I have already lived in the future.

But, as to efficiency what is important to me is in regard to enlightenment. I remembered being doctors, lawyers, kings etc. and merchants and soldiers, almost anything in my past already and sort of considered all that at this point at least to be a complete waste of my time. So, how could I become enlightened in the quickest way possible? And how could I help all others become enlightened in the quickest way possible too?

So, I applied my efficiency to all this and this blog that I started in 2007 and another at dragonofcompassion.com
http://dragonofcompassion.com/

are part of this after I started my first blog in 1999 after recovering from a heart virus in 1998 and 1999. So, I have had one blog or another (presently 3 blogs) since 1999 in June or July then.

And I find that efficiency is about learning to be in the perfect right time and space at all moments so you can help people on quantum levels ongoing in a completely unlimited way just like Jesus and Buddha and other great teachers did and do now.

Efficiency

My father's family is Swiss and they came from Switzerland from an area near Zurich to Germany to England and then up the Philadelphia Harbor into Philadelphia around 1725 here in the U.S.

However, the Swiss idea of efficiency stayed true through all these years ever since. I guess Cultures like Swiss and Tibetan and others know if you live in the mountains and you are not efficient then you are only dead before your time. If you live where is snows if you are not very efficient you are soon dead and the only ones alive left are very very efficient.

So, this efficiency that is a part of every Swiss person that survives came across the the U.S. with the 6 brothers who traveled here together in 1725.

By the time I was born I was also taught this "joy of efficiency" which is also a part of those who survive in the United States. It has always been this way here in the U.S. that those who are very efficient survive that those who are not don't always survive, especially in settling the western United States.

However, this love of efficiency of how to get something done the cheapest most efficient way whatever it is (even in having fun) changes a person's life a lot. So, as I moved through my life I noticed it most in how I learned to drive in Los Angeles County in California. I learned that taking short cuts and side streets often could save me hours in driving time, I learned that if I could never to drive at all between the hours of 7am to 9am or 5pm to 7 pm anywhere in the Los Angeles area and to if possible never drive at all on Fridays or Sunday evenings when traffic was bad. As I moved through my life I learned how to be efficient in working and then in owning businesses, I learned how to be efficient in dating and generally in how to survive. I learned where to live where life is better and more efficient and more beautiful (which also leads to more efficiency). And then eventually I learned how to be so efficient that I didn't have to work anymore. In the last year my wife had a knee replacement operation she decided to hire a housekeeper which was efficient too. Then I almost died in a Burst appendix and I had to try to be efficient enough not to die form that. But, the problem also is as you become more and more efficient that eventually there might be nothing at all that you absolutely need to do anymore. And then you might have to figure out what to do with yourself then.

And mostly that is called retirement.

Efficiency

My father's family is Swiss German. They came slowly from near Zurich, Switzerland starting during the late 1600s to late 1700s. They made it to America by the 1720s. However, even when I was born in 1948, there was still a tradition of efficiency in everything that I was taught. It served me well.

So, as an American I tend to look at anything I want to accomplish and ask myself always, "How can I most efficiently do this? How can I do this the quickest, fastest, most efficiently so that it is done quicker, faster and more efficiently than anyone else ever could?" This is how I tend to approach almost anything. And when one thinks this way there can be no competition from anyone. Because part of the process of thinking efficiently also eliminates competition. Because if there is competition you tend to do something else which is more efficient than dealing with any competition at all. Because competition (at least as far as any one person is trying to accomplish something) isn't efficient. So that is the first thing you eliminate in your quest for efficiency in anything that you do in life.

So, I found myself at age 50 almost dying from a heart virus. But at the same time because of a lifetime of efficiency, surviving that heart virus but being forced to retire. However, because of efficiency this was not a problem in my life. Because I had been efficient enough to be able to retire at 50.

However, the problem for me ever since is: What do I do with myself? I had been so efficient in the way I had dealt with everything in my life that there was nothing left to do in some ways. You might laugh at this but I wasn't laughing. Because I had made my life so streamlined and efficient that there was nothing left for me to do. And that was kind of scary.

So I guess my lesson about efficiency is: Be efficient but remember to leave something for yourself to do in case you live a long long time. Think about what you are going to do if you live to 100 or beyond that. Prepare for a really long life because that is only efficient.

I know if you are 15 to 25 you are going to tell me that, "Look at the world! We're all going to die!"
I know I thought like that too. I was 12 to 22 from 1960 to 1970. Kennedy got shot. Bobby got shot. Martin Luther King got shot. Cuban Missile Crisis. Viet Nam War. "Oh My God! We're all going to die!"

Yes. We thought like that too. But I'm still here at 62. And even though my friends and family seem to be all dying one by one I'm still here. And I may still be here at 100 or more. And so may you. So you better get ready. Efficiency isn't only for when you are young!

Efficiency

Coming from a Swiss German and Scottish ancestry I was taught extreme efficiency in everything I thought and did from babyhood. Starting at about age 15 I began applying my families efficiency to the study of God, Enlightenment, Science, Surfing, Skiing, Mountain Climbing, World Travel, Beautiful girls etc. I found that since I had the innate intelligence of my father combined with the good nature and kindness and incredible intuitive gifts of my mother that I could move forward at anything I chose with incredible efficiency.

I was always taught not to go through people but to always go my own way and to go around people to get whatever I wanted in life. For example, some people in the fast lane on the freeway drive up behind people and flash their lights and honk for slow drivers to get out of the way. That is a good way to start fight or get shot where I live in California. No. I wait for an opportunity and then pass on the right whenever I can or choose an alternative route. No fights. No deaths and I always am on time ahead of time having outfoxed and out thought 97% of all people to get exactly what I wanted.

If you want to survive the next 10 years on planet earth you might want to consider my survival strategy for success and survival. No fights. No deaths. Complete effeciency and the ongoing survival of yourself and your family. Things look pretty scary for us humans on earth the next 10 years and beyond. Like someone recently said, "It is not the beginning of the end of this financial crisis,it is only the end of the beginning. I'm afraid we are in for something like the Great depression or worse looking at the ignorant way most people view this. If you want to survive this present world financial globalization debacle be sure to educate yourself first and get moving and be extremely pragmatic so you and your family survive the next 10 years!!!
