Jennifer Aniston ‘Making an Absolute Fortune’ With $20-Million-a-Season Deal for ‘The Morning Show’
- Jennifer Aniston negotiated a $2-million-per-episode salary for The Morning Show, earning over $100 million from the show so far.
Jennifer Aniston is making an absolute fortune from her involvement with The Morning Show, a source tells the National Enquirer, calling her deal with Apple TV+ "no joke."
Per a 2019 report from The Hollywood Reporter, the actress, 57, negotiated a $2-million-per-episode salary, earning $20 million for a 10-episode season before producing fees and ownership points.
"With the fifth season they're making right now, Jen is passing the $100 million mark on this show alone," reveals the source. "This is Jen's Grey's Anatomy and she wants it to go on forever if it can."
While Aniston "loves the big money she makes" on The Morning Show, notes the source, she also loves the "huge amount of control and input" she has on the series' creative choices.
"When Jen was on Friends, as famous and rich as it made her, she was always frustrated by not having more of a say in the casting and storylines," the source shares. "It annoyed the hell out of her to be shut out of those decisions."
But on The Morning Show, "she goes deep into the casting," says the source, giving "huge boosts to actors she loves" like Past Lives star Greta Lee and The Underground Railroad's Aaron Pierre.
"She's living out an incredible dream with this show and she's making an absolute fortune doing it," dishes the source, adding that Apple TV+ is "thrilled with their investment" in the Emmy-winning drama too. "It can keep going as long as Jen and [Reese Witherspoon] stay interested."
