The Traditional Dorje and Bell

 I asked a Tibetan Lama about the shape of the Traditional Dorje and he said the shape originally "Fell From the Sky"

which kind of makes you wonder what other device fell from the sky looking like this? 

The Dorje is a name that means "Lightning Bolt" and Vajrayana Buddhism is called "The Lightning path" to Instant enlightenment.
