At least 1 killed, 6 injured in shooting, HCMC officials say
An official with Hennepin Healthcare has confirmed that they have received seven patients, with one being deceased. The conditions of the six others are currently unknown.
Officers shot in leg and stomach, sources say
Sources tell FOX 9 that one officer was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the stomach. Their current conditions are unknown.

City of Minneapolis asks public to stay away from active shooting location
The City of Minneapolis issued the following statement asking the public to keep away from the area of the shooting:
"The Minneapolis Police Department is on the scene of a shooting in the area of 15 E. Grant St. involving multiple victims, including two police officers.
"This is the only confirmed information at this time.
"Please avoid the area of 12th Street to Franklin Ave. and from Hennepin to 3rd Ave. South to allow emergency personnel to safely conduct response operations.
"Additional information will be provided as it becomes available."
Minnesota governor statement
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz shared the following statement:
"My public safety team is responding to a shooting that took place downtown Minneapolis this afternoon.
"State officials are on the ground to support local law enforcement and we will share more information as it becomes available."
Shooting location
Sources confirm to FOX 9 that the shooting happened on the 9th floor of 15 East Grant Street, in the area of 14th and Nicollet, in Minneapolis.
