As Droughts and flooding increases around the world because warmer air holds more water and causes more flooding and flash flooding:

We are witnessing worldwide now the really awful effects of Global warming especially on the poorer 50% of mankind.

As Floods in China and droughts in 1/2 of U.S. and floods in the other half destroy and wash away crops and dry up completely farmland through droughts, we also are going to see the "Law of Supply and Demand" raise prices to a level where the 1/2 of the world that least can afford these changes are more and more going to starve (especially in 3rd world countries where the financial capacity to adapt is the least likely.

However, it is also true that by innovating changes many countries poorer countries also might find ways through all this without their governments collapsing caused by mass starvation from food too expensive to buy for them.

So, governmental collapse could be foreseen by countries incapable of installing price supports on foods of all kinds in order to prevent governmental collapse worldwide.

Richer countries will likely all place food price supports to bring down the cost of foods so their governments are not overthrown by starving people during the next 20 to 50 years of increasing floods and droughts worldwide decimating food production.

One of the likely consequences of all this is meat of all kinds becoming more and more scarce and therefore so expensive that the poorer people of the world will not be able to buy meat of any kind unless they raise it themselves on a farm or ranch somewhere on earth.

And of course this also is dependent upon not living in the middle of a drought or floods that kill all or most of your livestock worldwide either.
