I think my housekeeper summed it up best.
She Said, "I don't want a Woman President."
I think this likely sums up what went wrong for Harris.
For whatever the reason Americans just don't trust the idea of a woman president.
Why is this?
I think it's because America is in some ways the last stand for Democracy on earth and so people know this and don't feel comfortable with a woman president, no matter what her race or races.
And from this point of view, Hillary Clinton got 2.9 million more votes than Kamala Harris regarding Trump which means 2.9 million more people voted for Hillary than for Trump.
So, likely this was because people knew and understood Harris less than Hillary too. And people are much more insecure after Covid and the inflation rates lately too.
However, the U.S. Economy is probably doing better than any other economy on earth.
But, the provincial nature of most Americans (they don't travel most of them out of country) means that they ONLY saw the inflation and didn't see how bad the rest of the world economies were doing and never understood that we are doing better economically than any other nation on earth right now.
