Luckily, the only really heavy rains likely will be Friday and Saturday. Right now, it's only windy and I can see the sun and I'm sitting outside while the sun is out before the storm really sets in sometime today or tomorrow.
However, people north of us are likely starting to get flooded out today.
And, Siskiyou county where Mt. Shasta is is flooding because of 2 feet of snow down to Dunsmuir now melting in the continuing torrential rains ongoing which should continue in some form through next Wednesday.
So, this is a long way from being over for Northern California and ORegon especially.
The fire hose of the Atmospheric River is now hitting Santa Rosa up into Oregon now. So, all these areas could be flooding soon. Also, there are flood warnings north of Eureka up into Oregon as well.
However, where I am the sun is out but it will get progressively more windy today the weather people said as the storm starts hitting us by tomorrow and Saturday.
