At this point it appears the human race is working intently towards the suicide of the Human Race. Why?

The biggest problem for ongoing human survival on earth appears to be the population of earth living on the surface of earth.

In order for this many people to live on earth they would have to be mostly living inside the earth underground. Why?

Because the surface of the earth is needed for growing food and for recreation and so buildings likely also will be blown down made of wood especially this century and the next ones (the way things are presently going).

However, it is also true that it gets warmer like this before an ice age too.

This appears to be how an ice age starts. First greenhouse gases (usually) increase which causes the planet to warm starting with the oceans (like now). The next step often beyond the increasing winds is the scientific fact that  the air can hold much more water the warmer it is. So, as the oceans warm and the ice melts in the Arctic and Antarctic it causes up to 5 times as much rainfall because of the combination of higher temperatures so the air can hold more moisture along with the increased evaporation from the oceans because of the higher air and water temperatures. 

So, theoretically at least cloud cover increases with more water moisture but over time this cloud cover might reduce the ground temperatures more and cause more snow to fall in the winter time (where it snows now on earth). 

So, theoretically everywhere it now snows might have glaciers caused by the snow not melting in the summers because of cloud cover preventing the sun from reaching the earth and melting the snow.

However, this doesn't happen overnight but over hundreds or thousands of years of years usually.

So, therefore global warming could also cause the next ice age because of evaporation and more clouds with 5 times as much moisture and rain and in winter 5 times as much snow where it now snows worldwide.
