It's about the same distance as Hawaii from San Francisco to the east coast. It's around a 4 1/2 to 5 hour flight most places now in a passenger jet.
However, our Flight from SFO was delayed a couple of hours which meant that our flight didn't reach our destination until around midnight. So, we were worried about getting our rental car that late. However, I think there were many people who needed rental cars on our plane so the rental car places (the bigger ones) were open. One guy had a dollar rental and our people said they would have to wait until tomorrow to get a car. Luckily we were with one of the big ones so we were okay. Then I had to walk (seemed like forever) to find the SUV 4 wheel drive we rented. (The hurricanes might be coming through this near the coast and so a 4 wheel drive seemed like a good idea).
Anyway, we made it safe with our rental car to our destination for the wedding and now we are resting up for the wedding tomorrow after traveling so far by plane and car.
