It was 75 here which is pretty warm for any time of year here on the NORCAL coast. Everyone was at the beach so I had to be careful where I went with our dog because of larger dogs because our dog is a Corgi.
However, it was wonderful to walk along the beach today because it reminded me a lot of being in Hawaii on the Islands. We try to go to the Hawaiian Islands with friends or kids and grand kids or both every year if we can. However the exception to this was Covid.
By the way, though renting a Mustang or Camaro Convertible is often fine if there are just two of you, anything more than two you might be better off with a mini-van because it can handle at least 5 people and all their luggage in most mini-vans if they are American Made at least. Some European and Japanese Mini-vans might not handle all the luggage and 5 people too.
So, our Blue Merle Corgi was happy to see the beach and roll on her back in the sand like a little worm. I think she likes scratching her back this way and doesn't have the super long legs that most larger dogs do to interfere with her balance. IN fact, sleeping on her back with her legs in the air is one of her favorite things to do.
So, maybe nicest day at the beach since maybe April 2025. But, there was one really nice day when my friends were visiting for a week in July too which was great for them and me too.
However, as I was living the beach around 4:15 today the high fog was starting to roll in from the ocean slightly blocking the sun.
But, that's okay because I and my dog got to walk on the beach in the sun which was wonderful!
