When I first met my wife in 1994 it was after Halloween when we first dated on December 1st 1994. So, it wasn't until Halloween that I watched likely then a VHS of this on Halloween for the first time. She had been watching this as her personal Tradition since 1988 when it first came out at the theaters.
So, usually we have watched this movie every Halloween (or around there every year since then). Then when Hocus Pocus came out in 1993 we started watching this one too for Halloween or around this time of year to help celebrate the season. So, now these two movies we watch almost every year since then.
