Because this appears to be what Trump is doing too right now. And it's affecting the whole world economy what he is doing with his tariffs and beginning a world Wide Great Depression at this point.
Will this Change? Trump is an old and proud man and won't admit when he is wrong just like Hoover in this.
So, the whole world might be entering into a 2nd Great Depression right now because Trump will never admit that he was completely wrong about Tariffs and so he is now sinking the whole world economy with Tariffs. This appears to be what is presently happening worldwide at this point.
The one two punch is Covid and now Trump's Tariffs which is throwing the whole world likely into another Great Depression slowly but surely.
