What was the worst? The worst was how many people I knew had been molested in my church and weren't allowed to talk about it. Then as I grew older I began to find this was universal to all churches.
It's sort of for the same reason that people in your own family are the most likely to molest you as a child and it is also true that people in your own church are also the most likely to molest you and your children.
This allowing people's lives to be destroyed in every church and hiding this information along with threats against children from speaking the truth made me turn my back permanently against all organized religions worldwide for the most part.
Lies and religions seem to go hand in hand.
How can there be trust if there is no truth?
