Already a 60 mph Gust of wind recorded in Big Sur tonight

Within the last few minutes the wind gusted here and is constant at 30 mph or above right now. it says the wind is also constant right now in Big Sur at 66 miles per hour and 40 mph in Santa Cruz and 41 in Salinas and 22 in San Francisco and 25 mph in San Jose and 33 in Gilroy and 30 in Hollister. and even down 101 it's 30 mph in Soledad and 26 miles per hour in King City. So, basically the whole San Francisco Bay area is experiencing an intense wind storm. However the rain is fairly constant but it isn't raining that hard. If the winds were like this as well as the rains we would have trees coming down already. However, the soil has had enough time to dry out somewhat since the Christmas Week Deluge of rain when we lost power here on the SF Bay area Coast from Tuesday to FRiday night or Saturday. Most of our Christmas Guest that week had to endure a power outage for Christmas and the only lights or refrigerator power was from our gasoline Generator. So, we survived that okay and the kids visiting had pretty good stories to tell in school when they went back after that power outage here at the beach.

It's supposed to rain pretty consistently all night long far into tomorrow but hopefully the wind doesn't bring anymore big trees down which often creates power outages here where we live when they bring down the power lines (the 1000 volt lines on top of telephone poles) and sometimes Tranformers explode with this happens that go off a lot like a huge Hand Grenade so if you are near to one of these you might die in the explosion when pieces of hot metal from shorting electricity go everywhere likely within a city block. However, if you are inside a house or building or car when this happens it is likely you will survive something like this. So, if you see a transformer sparking and making noise Run to the nearest house or car so you can survive if it blows up!
