In 1974 I first retreated to Mt. Shasta because I found living in Los Angeles and even San Diego too busy for me and confusing. So, this is the first time I moved to Mt. Shasta. However, I had a new wife and baby and we weren't able to stay that time then. So, we moved back to San Diego and then moved to Hilo, Hawaii where we had friends living then too.
However, by 1976 we were able to return to mt. Shasta and stayed a few years until we broke up and I got custody of our son who is now 51 years old and I am 77. So, he was born when I was 26 and actually a grown up then capable of being a real father to him. This was one of my saving Graces in life and helped keep me alive to age 30 and beyond to now at age 77.
By God's Grace
NOTE: The point is things are getting so crazy on earth that retreating to the wilderness isn't really a bad idea to home school your kids like my 2nd wife and I did for 5 years on remote land of 2 1/2 acres. I figure even for 1980 to 1985 we saved about 60,000 to 70,000 dollars in rent by building our own A-Frame to live in for those 5 years and home schooling our children before we bought another business in the SF Bay area and moved back there in 1985. The last time I lived in Mt. Shasta was from 1990 to 1992. However, I haven't lived there since then. Making a living there I always found difficult year around. So, owning a business or businesses in the SF Bay area I have found more useful since 1992.
So, if you can retreat to the wilderness it might save your life worldwide to get away from the bigger cities where people might die in droves from people like Trump worldwide during the next 10 to 20 years or so.
