For some reason the road is still closed to Panther Meadows and Panther Springs and up to the old Ski Bowl which I think had to be torn down because of a huge avalanche in the early 1970s. But, the view from Bunny Flats of Mt. Shasta was particularly spectacular today. Then my wife called to tell me that her cousins son who is about 26 years old and lives in San Diego Now was visiting this area so I drove my friend down to his land and visited with my wife and her cousins son and then we all went to dinner together in Mt. Shasta at one of the restaurants there.
It was good to get out of the hotel room as I wasn't feeling well this morning. However, I found out why I wasn't feeling well until around 1 or 2 Pm because I had forgotten to take 3 medicines before I went to bed which usually doesn't kill me but it doesn't make me feel okay too. So, when I looked into my medicine wheel for this group of medicines I realized that I had forgotten. At least I figured out why I felt so awful from about 6 am to around 1 or 2 pm today when I went up to Bunny Flat with a friend.
Being here in Mt. Shasta has been pretty peaceful so far. They have had cooler weather since we have been here since Saturday. However, at some point in the next week it will be in the high 80s.
