Why?
Because the past, present and future are all always changing because of Galactic and Earth Time Travel by the Galactic Government and by Earth's governments and corporations.
Why aren't the people of earth told about this?
Because Time Travel is hundreds maybe thousands of times more dangerous than Nuclear weapons or anything else.
It is useful in understanding this because this affects your pasts, your presents and your futures because everything in the past, present and future could potentially change again again, and Again.
And this is true in all our lives whether we want it to be true or not.
