This episode is classic William Shatner who is still alive and went into space actually for the first time in reality in the last couple of years at around age 90 which is impressive in and of itself.
This episode was 1967 and i had graduated from a private church School in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1966 and I was from Glendale, California and likely was attending Glendale College when this episode came out. I think we bought our first color TV around 1960 because they weren't worth having before that.
