I remember reading about the 1st 4 books of the Dune series. Eventually I think my son read all of them but I found it too detailed and tedious to read past about 3 or 4 books in this series. However, it is one of the best things I have ever read along with the Tolkien series of books like The Hobbit and "The Lord of the Rings".
