There are more Christians in the U.S. than any other single nation on Earth

This makes the U.S. the "Christian Refuge" of Earth to all Christians on earth.

There are 245 million "Approximately" Christians in the U.S.  which is more Christians than any other single nation on Earth.

So, it could be said that the U.S. is the single most ethnocentric Christian nation on earth too.

What does this mean?

It means that we believe we are the center of the earth and every other nation should be like us.

This is both a good thing and a bad thing in it's effect on the earth.

Americans often assume that everyone on earth believes in God.

This just isn't true.

At most, only 1/2 the population of earth actually believes in a single God. Though the Hindus which are also large in number

Here is what I got from Google Search regarding how many people in the major religions:

The demographic study – based on analysis of more than 2,500 censuses, surveys and population registers – finds 2.2 billion Christians (32% of the world's population), 1.6 billion Muslims (23%), 1 billion Hindus (15%), nearly 500 million Buddhists (7%) and 14 million Jews (0.2%) around the world as of 2010.

So, if I take this demographic seriously then I can say that approximately 55% of the world actually believes in a Single God and then the 1 billion Hindus believe in many Gods and 500 million Buddhists believe in Buddhas but not Gods and 14 million Jews believe in a single God too because the Christians and Muslim religions are based on the Old Testament of the Jews and the Christians have the New Testament and the Muslims have the Koran.

So, Christians in the U.S. believing the whole world is similar to them is wrong.

In fact, about 1/2 of the world doesn't even believe in a Single monotheistic God and even if you add up 1.6 billion Muslims and 2.2 billion Christians and 1 billion Hindus, you still only get 4.8 billion people believing in A God or Many Gods and the rest don't. So, if you subtract 4.8 billion people from 7 billion people you get 2.2 billion people that likely don't believe anything like people who believe in a single God or many Gods.

So, many of the ethnocentric Christian ideas that the whole world should be like the U.S. as Americans is just wrong and completely unrealistic for them to think that.

We are just so very different than the rest of the world with only 315 million people here with 7 billion being the whole world that our present Christian Ethnocentrism is actually dangerous in it's effect on the rest of the world unless those people happen to be Christian too and then likely they want to come here to escape the problems of the rest of the world which right now are getting worse every day.

And the worst thing of all is that we Americans think we can solve the worlds problems. We really can't. We have been trying since the early 1900 to solve the worlds problems. But, how can we do that when we can't even solve our own?

Then we have someone like Putin who thinks like, "There are just too many people on earth, we better kill a lot of them." This isn't going to do anything but start a nuclear war and end life on earth.

Our only hope likely to remain a human race alive on earth is for Global Warming to thin us all out as an Act of God so there is no one to take revenge on for the world.
