Megaupload had 1 Billion customers and was 4% of the Internet

Copyrights: Feds push a few novel theories in MegaUpload case

If you click on the above site at LA Times you can read about it. With literally 1 billion customers and being 4% of the Internet, it appears that many musicians stored their files on this site. I'm wondering if wikileaks and Anonymous also stored their files on this site as well. It is difficult to say. But the fact that it is 4% of the internet that was shut down all at once with probably over 999 million honest customers that just lost their information that they might not have been able to back up elsewhere, it is likely that this will create thousands if not millions of individual bankruptcies worldwide of honest citizens here on  earth. I see this as incredibly problematic for 1 billion people which is 1/7 of the worlds population. If taking down 4% of the internet in the first go around doesn't spell "Internet War" I don't know what will. I never heard of the site before this but I'm sure millions of others were using it. This is very problematic for everyone.

note: also at the above site is a video advertisement of the site. The problem with the Federal indictment to me is that it is obviously racist in nature and I think the Federal Government without SOPA and PIPA cannot win this case.

However, all this may be meaningless if the Federal Government is in the process of shutting down the Internet over the next few years. I think that the plan is to slowly strangle the Internet out of existence rather than to win this case. If that is the plan then they have already shut down 4% of the Internet with only 96% to go.
