One of the many advantages at Firefox as a browser is that it allows private windows so this can prevent unnecessary tracking of your movements throughout the Internet. This increases your privacy from cookies and other such devices employed by all sorts of corporations wanting information about you. If you actually saw what people did with your information you likely wouldn't use the internet at all for anything. However, this is the way things are. For example, using cable instead of an aerial for TV reception often whatever you are watching is noted. When you use a Roku or other device for Netflix, Amazon prime and other services like Hulu and others you are also tracked in whatever you are interested and watching too. Likewise, when you visit any site online you are also tracked usually by multiple bots or other cookies or other devices. However, it might be important to know it is not most of the time personal to you but generally to gather as much information as they can about demographics regarding what people watch on TV or online to better figure out what products to carry and what to put on your personal advertisements on anything to go to online. For example, you are targeted by whatever you go to online to look at.So, if you look up bicycles you might see bicycle advertisements on what you are personally viewing for the next month or so. The same with traveling or stuff like that or shirts or pants or cars or whatever. So, you will be targeted with specific adds depending what you go to online.
I like the privacy settings when you download Firefox. I also prefer Firefox for Blogging in general most of the time too for many many reasons. So, if you have a blog see how Firefox works for you in blogging to see what I'm talking about.
I just donated to Firefox because they have been a great resource through the Mozilla Foundation which runs Firefox because they have been a very helpful browser to running this Blog.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
