America is much more into short term thinking. China thinks in terms of 25, 50,100 years or more in how the government both thinks and operates there. Democracy after all is much more short term and messy than a bunch of people at the top trying to engineer the next 100 years for their country. Democracy is very predictable and so is China if you look at their plan for the next 100 years which starts with Xi Jinping ruling until he dies of old age. Whereas America every 4 years (or sooner with Trump) can change presidents at least every 8 years and sometimes every 4 years too.
So, if you understand China they don't have to do anything but wait until Trump is gone to resume business as usual with the next president. MAYBE.
Because it's also possible that the next president also could be suspicious of China's stealing our patents and inventions with their agents planted in Universities and companies around the world. So, it is also possible that the next president because of all this might see an economic war ongoing against China as being in the U.S. And European best interests long term as a way to avoid military conflict which really cannot be allowed to happen because of nuclear weapons in China and Russia and the U.S. and North Korea and France and England and Israel and India and Pakistan and maybe even Iran and Saudi Arabia.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
