Home to Greater SF Bay Area

It has been cloudy and foggy for 3 or 4 days in Santa Barbara so I was hopeful of seeing the sun for the first time in several days (except for a purple pink sunset I think it was yesterday night) and even then I never saw the sun because it had already set behind the clouds. (But, it did make a short beautiful afterglow of Pink and Purple which lasted 10 to 15 minutes which I happened to see there in Santa Barbara. We went to eat at an Italian Restaurant with my daughter and husband and a friend at an Italian Restaurant in Montecito yesterday which was nice. They have an outdoor portion of their restaurant so we didn't have to sit inside.

Today I was searching for the sun after I went through the Gaviota Tunnel but was very surprised the sun didn't even turn up until Atascadero quite far inland past San Luis Obispo on 101. So, the clouds are extending far inland for some reason from the ocean which is unusual for them to do this this late in the year. But, of course climate change is completely changing everything from the way things were before 2000 so the sky's the limit on weather changes at this point it seems.

After Atascadero there were some cumulous clouds that you could see the blue sky and the sun through and by San Miguel they skies were blue completely with no clouds with a much lower temperature than last Saturday which was 93 then down to around 70 to 72 today around the same time of about noon to one today Saturday. So, all in all at least a 20 degree drop in temperatures in one week in October (Sounds like Fall weather to me).
