How do you debug or troubleshoot HTML href code?

First get a proven template that is working for you.

How do you know it is working?

First load any Href that you find online that is working.

Then load it into a page of your own and label the page test then publish it.

When it is loaded if you click on the word button or link and it does what it is supposed to you have a "workable link" that is proven to you.

So, you want every link you make to have the same programming exactly (EXCEPT) with a different URL and different text as you copy this perfect template over and over again to give your readers workable word buttons (Links) to your URLs or URLs you are giving people to other sites.

The important thing once you do this is "Does it work when you load it?" If it does then you have done it right. (at least that last line of code you did was right). Now, does the text word button agree with what they actually get when they load it like you just proved? It isn't any good if the URL takes them to some place other than where the word button said it was about, for example.

Once it works you have a good test site and I would recommend you leave that test site up until you are finished creating the finished product on several test sites.

Auto-encoders will also help with this too but you have to be in the right mode to do this.

This is almost all the coding that the autocoder entered. I got this by going and switching to HTML view, copying that and then entering it in the Compose view where the HTML will not be read at least at this level.
