Russian disinformation during the election is more direct. Chinese manipulation of information is more insidious

 While U.S. intelligence experts generally agree that Russia is better than any other country at spreading disinformation to undermine voter confidence leading up to the election, security experts have been preoccupied with a longer-term threat. It's true that China supports Biden over Trump but it's also likely true that China used the Coronavirus against Trump because he would be incompetent to deal with it and hundreds of thousands of americans would die in their effort to unseat Trump. Trump is considered to be mostly an economic threat to China and so they will try to unseat him while Putin wants more to destroy the whole economic system and democracy in America.

China's point of view is entirely from the point of view of a Capitalistic State run by Communists. So, their point of view is entirely about money and nothing else.

So, the question you have to ask yourself is: "What will China do to be economically pre-eminent on earth?"

And the answer is: Almost anything.

And what will Putin do to end America Economically and to end our Democracy?

Almost anything.

So, from this point of view both China and Russia are the biggest threats America Faces now outside of the suicidal president Trump that is presently destroying America for China and Russia and Putin (likely also for money paid to him by China and Russia).

So, Trump is the first American president with a secret Chinese Bank Account for Bribes from Xi.
