You are basically endangering the lives of people who think it works and don't realize it is a "BETA" or testing software. So, we can expect more Tesla deaths from people who are trusting this software instead of reading the fine print. In the past we have had people decapitated when their Tesla mistook a truck for a roadside sign and it took off the upper body (fatal of the driver) who was watching a Harry Potter movie instead of monitoring what the car was actually doing (it was a Semi Truck trailer) that the car drove under and decapitated the driver while he watched a Harry Potter movie. The truck was making a left turn in front of the Tesla and so the Tesla Drive died instantly.
Software can only do so much because it can't really do what a lot of non-programmers expect of it. If you have ever programmed computers for a living you know that this is a long and arduous process of watching people die with Beta Software regarding this sort of thing.
I was watching a Google Test Vehicle which the "Driver" was doing homework in the driver's seat and wondered if they would survive the day doing homework instead of being in charge in case the software made a fatal mistake that took the life of a pedestrian, Animal or the supposed driver doing their homework. This was in Palo Alto by the way within the last couple of years.
Software is about "Garbage In Garbage Out". So, it takes a lot of time to simulate a human being driving a car and things we take for granted the software doesn't get like thinking a Semi Truck van is a sign it is passing on the road which was fatal for that driver watching Harry Potter while he was sliced in two and gone when everything above the hood of the Tesla (the whole windshield and roof) was sheared off with the upper part of the drivers body.
